Eagles’ standout Philip Larson captured 1,000 points in basketball field goals and also captured a place in Solon Springs’ record books. The remarkable feat was accomplished over Christmas break in a game against Bruce, but played in Clayton, WI.

“It’s an unbelievable individual accomplishment,: said Coach Dale Rajala. “You have to be a very special player to reach this level.”

Phil Larson is a fourth year point guard who currently has 1060 points. Yet the team still has around 10 games left to play!

In addition, Larson is a regular on the Honor Roll. His GPA stands at an astonishing 4.02.

“Larson has set the standard for all players who want to achieve in scoring, passing and academics,” Rajala concluded. “He is the complete player.”
